Yes, UK CAA statistics show a rate of failure around 20% (european students). It is not going to be as easy as now, but it is feasible , but requires a dedicated amount of work.
I have personnally trained Air Lingus and Airtour cadets (flight Training Europe- Jerez/ Spain): they were working very hard, I remember the batches decided to stay in the Campus two months without going outside the school a single day of week-end, but we pass everybody through with only few resits. Also I remember some a-typic private students;
- a greek running an estate agency, already working since 10 years (forgotting all his school learnings in Maths and physics), very hard worker: he pass through first attempt
- a british farmer (40 years old), he has sold his farm, because he want to be a pilot: we pass him through, but same, he has worked 12 hours per day during a year.
- an icelandic student, with a very poor level of english, amidst a class of irish, British... He work so hard that he finish at the head of his batch
Just to show you that the JAR exams,.... you can do but you will have to work hard.
