Take a look in 747 SRM... it does show "provision for aerial refueling door"... but guess which 747 opted for that?

You must remember, SRM is generic not specific for any specific customer versions and customizations, hence the inclusion of such a door for the inflight refuelling provisions. :><:

If you can fly non-stop using a B747-400 from KL to London,with ample fuel to another diversion airport, is there a need for mid-air refuelling?

Why would anybody (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD) like to stay in the air cooped / confine for soooooo loooong realy beats me!!!

or.. there's always a fire risks during refuelling(static build up, lightning strikes, etc..). why would you want to do that with 300+ pax onboard??? :><.:
