Do i need to renew my IR Rating?

Hi! I've graduated from a flying school last year and been jobless ever since and i'm wondering, do i need to renew my IR Rating(not referring to my CPL license)? After all i've not been flying for a long time... :(

nope.. its not required.. just go do ur medical and renew your CPL.
When you join airlines you will have to do another IR test during your simulator training.
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.

Thanks! Btw, is there an alternative to renewing license than flying all the way to Putra Jaya?

I dont think so.

you must let DCA officer sign your license.
