Apparently the launch of FireflyJET will be delayed till February due to delay in aircraft delivery. Soft launch in December according to "reliable" sources.

They test you on your Knowledge> Aptitude> Attitude...

Once you are shortlisted, they will call you up for written test where you have to sit for combined CAA6/CAA2/DCAT paper which consists of 66 questions. They are pretty tough for those who have been idling for sometime without any current revision. XD Then, comes the SIM check where they will need you to show your flying capability. You will be flying Fokker 50's Sim and all the checks are done by the examiner. All you have to do is fly the aircraft and do what you have been told. Normally they will ask you to do ILS approach, engine fire drill, and engine failure drill. those 2 stages can be done in a single day. If you passed them, you will be called again for interview. Pass it, then they'll send you an email entitle " Congratulation You Are A Pilot For Firefly!". =)
