are we talking bout widebody or light aircraft?i can share a bit bout light aircraft cause i'm flying one..bigger aircraft use almost the same concept but there's a lot more thing to do..to summarize, basically we use threshold as the aiming point, constant speed for approach on final..around 65-70 knots...with full flap..start with aiming point,we normally aim for the big numbers that indicating runway direction..it is close to the threshold..make sure the aiming point is constantly just above the aircraft nose..maintain speed(using power and attitude),maintain center line(using both rudder and ailerons)...then when u past the number,u should be low enough..fly straight and level, idle power while maintaining center line(again using small aileron control + rudder) and look at the end of the runway to feel the sink..u will notice you're sinking when u see on the horizon like u're falling straightly from the air..that is the moment where u flare...flare is where u pull a little bit on your control column to counter the sink and make the main wheel touchdown first..u never want to touchdown with all 3 wheels at once..just keep pulling ur control column, not too much so the aircraft won't float/balloon back on the air(which gonna result a hard landing..if u balloon do not hesitate to conduct a go around or to recover, add some little amount of power, fly straight level again, idle power then again flare)..then..poof..main wheel touch down..slowly let go the backpressure so the nose wheel touchdown on the runway..and start to brakes..there u go...now u safely landed..

good luck...sorry if i make it sound like complicated..but im just sharing what i know.. cheers..fly safe..
