hello! I've a question here. how to calculate the rate of descend? so that I could land after the threashold accurately. is there has any formula?

assuming u are on 3 degree glideslope which mostly will be , the Rate of descent would be half of your groundspeed. To land the aircraft when the radio callout calls 40ft u start flaring just to maintain that attitude until it touchedown

Threshold is actually the beginning of the part of the runway, usable for landing
See the picture above...
If you see large piano key on the runway...that is the threshold

You'll find that landing is more dificult if u fly Eagle 150B... Made in Malaysia!! ::D:

I heard someone landed the Eagle 150B, with throtle not at idle during the flare and aircraft still sinking with stall warning!

what??? landing with throttle still open and causes the stall warning to go on during the flaring??

that is kinda rare isnt it??? its either the pilot flared by pulling up too much or there is a gust, but....... o.0
