Air Asia Cadet Pilot

hi guys... i just want to know, when applying for air asia cadet pilot programme, do they still consider your SPM results even though you already have your engineering degree??? cause i had applied for the programme advertised in their web and they replied that i am not fulfilling the requirement outlined by DCA. I know i got a glitches with my english result for spm but i dont think they should pay too much attention on it because its already 5 years and i already have degree with me.. they suppose to consider my degree instead of my spm. one more thing... what do they mean by DCA requirement??? i know some of my friends took private cadet pilot programme some years ago. For certain they did not meet A.Asia or MAS requirement with their spm results. and yet DCA still gave them approval to pursue their training. So, can someone please tell me are the requirements come from A.Asia or DCA??

Please understand, just because you have a degree, it does not supersede your SPM.
And yes, DCA does have a set of minimum requirements to be a pilot, they need your SPM to be a certain level (info you can get from DCA website) and DCA doesn't care if you have PhD, if your SPM doesn't meet the requirements, you can't be a pilot!

And I believe Air Asia will set a higher level of SPM requirements compared to DCA.

The rule of the game is, you can buy any qualification up to Masters/PhD but not your SPM.

Like it or not that's why SPM is always the main criteria set by various organization in the country to gauge applicants for scholarship/varsity entry/sponsorship and so on.
