FYI we are actually still under endorsement training which only requires 5 flights. However it takes time since the training slot is subject to 1.Aircraft availability(we have only 4 DHC-6 in our fleet, which are operational from morning until late evening) 2. Instructors availability(only TRI or TRE can conduct the training) 3. Weather(It's November..so yeah).

There are 8 second officers in my batch plus one first officer(my flying school instructor ::D: ) in total.
I have no idea about the two girls because they were actually offered for the ATR-72 right hand seat.

It's not true. Out of 10 selected to go none from Swak and one from Sabah and remaining 9 from Semenanjung Malaysia.

It's actually 2 from Sarawak, 1 from Sabah and the remaining 7 from West Malaysia.

And what captainlordz said is somewhat true, remember the recruitment ad there was no vacancy for ATR co-pilots? But MASwings selected the 2 Sarawakians and put them direct to ATR, and both of them were fresh from flying school.
