i want to know??..what is total sailing (months) of the crews in a year???

cadet will sail for 6 month + 6 month for 2nd year practical..
when become 3rd officer u will sail for 6 month , off for 2 month
if u are the captain , u will sail for 3 month and 3 month off..
it's also depend on ur company..

the other enjoy movie , play game ,during free time haha
internet only for email..

salary... 7500 basic ..for fresh diploma graduate..
one more intersting part is..
when u reach the harbour , u will stay at the country at least for 10 - 15 days ..
then continue to another country..
more time can be spend compare to pilot..

but when heard about 6 months sailing..huh..it will be a long journey..huhu
6 months sailing seems to be long la 4 fresh cadet..
how about family..bla..bla...haha..that is the important thing

it's actually 1 year practical to qualify urself as 3rd officer..
it's international standard to get the license..
same as pilot which that have to fly 1500hours to unfrozen the ATPL..
there are a lot thing in common actually
