Talk about anything that doesn't fit other boards.

what is the ratio between captain and co-sailer? hahaha~
the chances to become a captain must be harder compare to pilot because pilot ratio is around 1:1...
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.

As of today, aviation world does not look good. There are more than 100 jobless pilots in M'sia alone and the number keep increasing from time to time ........

With increased retirement age to 65, the slot is smaller than before and the less slot available for newbies .........

Always be prepared for an alternate career ............. just in case..........

Good on you mate. Flying is not everything, it is just a job ........... ;)

If sailing could offer a promising income as much as flying if not more, then why not? ......... :)

Look at the crew of Oasis of The Sea and Freedom of The Sea ....... they are more outstanding compare to some of our airlines crew ...... :))

I am not surprised if their officers could get 5 digits U$D tax free income per month ......... ;)
