Oh, missed out this thread. I did post a coupla times before I noticed this thread.

I am 40 (an "unker" to most of you), engineer-businessman, aviation enthusiast. In my youth I have fixed more Airfix/Hasegawa/Tamiya plastic models of famous planes than I care to remember.

Not a proper pilot but I know how to fly having practised thousands of hours with MFS and a few hrs actual stick time in the Cessna 172N.

I will be adding at least 3 more hours here

care to join me?

Welcome Alpha Oscar! Can't call you 'unker' as you're younger than me! ;)
We would welcome if there are suggestions how to improve this board/forum further.

now that it opened its door again to Malaysian, Im going to give it a shot again applying for cadet pilot. i would even dare giving up my lucrative salary for my dream job =)

Hi kokokranc,

If I were you, I will continue with what I am doing now, save some money and buy my own aeroplane - preferably a fully aerobatic kit plane. It is not that expansive, almost the same price as Merc S500 or Cayenne Twin Turbo.

I have a few friends that own a plane/heli here in M'sia and used to go and have a cuppa in Tioman or Pangkor during weekends. We went as far as Bali for recreational activities and had so much fun.

Don't give up your lucrative job but make it as a tool to achieve your dream ............ :)
