I am Captain Emmanuel "Manny" Celis. I am the new Director of the Academy of the Philippine Pilots Academy Inc. We offer lessons from PPL to CPL and Multi-Engine for $36,000 including housing for 200 hours of flight time. Our target is to graduate our students in 6 to 7 months. Our website is http://www.pilotsacademy.com.ph. The academy has been in existence for almost 2 years now and is owned by flight instructors and airline pilots who you will find teaching flight as well. One of the owners is former Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communications in the Philippines, Sec. Vicente Rivera. He is dubbed the Father of Philippine Aviation. As a perfectionist he does not expect anything less from his staff and co-owners. We have an excellent record of well maintained airplanes. For any questions you can contact me at 639228567939 or just email me at rp_airman@hotmail.com.

Very sorry Captain Manny, but Philippines are at FAA standards and Malaysia is going JAR, there is an important gap between the two standards, and conversion from FAA is nearly a full re-training.

Hello Terengganu,

Honestly I was told that it will take another 100,000 more to convert. Try to compute first how much it will cost you to fly there up to CPL and compare it with our price. And then decide. Thanks.

Captain Manny,
It is not only a question of money but also of time as nearly all the Ground School has to be done again.

no offend but im agree with terengganu..it is really gonna waste lot of time for conversion..i see those student who done their flying at sydney, they come back to malaysia..DCA wont make it easy for their conversion...have to waste more time and lots more money here until you are fully approved by DCA...cheers..just sharing up my opinion

My email rp_airman@hotmail.com has been hacked. The hackers are asking for money. Please ignore. I am in the Philippines and not in London. Thanks.

Captain Manny, few of my friends finished their CPL course at Philippines and came back Malaysia for conversion. But DCA Malaysia only granted them a PPL and told them redo whatever that required to obtain a CPL/IR. Don't such way a waste? Who still dare to take this risk? I heard this case happened because of alot FAKE logging in Philippines. If you can guarantee they can obtain a CPL after finished their course there I think many people would like to go there.
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.
