i called and they said rm280k. but most probably can get the scholarship so that's 30k off which makes it 250k. this puts it in the range of other FA. hmm but i think MFA is still the better FA according to all the threads i went through.

Does HMA open their new base in terengganu just to have their 'backup' aircraft there? Is HMA having so much aircraft?

Don't know about any new base, of course the old one has been refurbished and moved across the runway at the new GA apron. It has been a satellite base to cover extra flying so that cadets can log their hours faster. Its been operating for the past 3-4yrs if i'm not wrong.

About having so much aircraft......well define how much is "so much"?

monsoon in LGK? there is no monsoon there......... yes monsoon do take place in terengganu between nov-feb.....

expect all year round unpredictable weather in LGK where you will experience rapid buildup of clouds and quick dissipation of thick cumulonimbus. You will be surprised to wake up in the morning without a single cloud in view and within 2-3 hrs the whole of LGK is covered with massive dark clouds........

the terengganu base will remain operational throughout the year including during monsoon, each batch will be sent there for 2-3 months during their CPL stage of flying where emphasis will be on Instrument Flying sorties.
