my friend in HM graduate in less than 18 months..
it seems that HM is getting better...but still the fees is so expensive

For newbies...
aspiring pilots out there...

there is only 2 schools which are in good condition now...
1) MFA
2) HMA

Others...
I can guarantee you even the cadets wont recommend you to join their flying school...
Trust me..
YOU WONT REGRET!

Guys, I think the best school to go to right now is MFA and this is the reason why :

1. They have more than enough of planes for all the batches to complete their sortie's
2. They have brand new facilities. Eg. Cafeteria, Hostels, Class rooms, Flight Ops, etc etc.
3. Instructors are Good and knowledgeable.
4. Malacca is a very Ideal town. Eg. near to KL, JB and Singapore.

A very good friend of mine who's from APFT has informed me about his situation and it sounds TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!..
Most of them there have been there for at least a year or even more and they've only collected 2 to 3 flying hours!.. Can you believe that!?!?.. I was shocked to the core!.. Plane's are insufficient and everyone's just waiting..
So you see guys, advertising plays an extremely important role.. All schools can say sweet and wonderful things to you before you hand them your money.

Unfortunately Yes, MFA is also going to adopt the same sort of style.

ya... most of the Instrument Flying will do in SIM...
for instrument flying most important is you know how to intercept or leg down and approach...
so flying the real aircraft or sim is not a big issue...

Oh I see...M..m now I know more about it.....So which flying school will you guys recommend me?I have been to MFA and HMA before.Since now both schools own a flight SIM so I will jusy put it aside.The aircrafts in HMA are brand new and eqquiped with glass cockpit but the study environment in MFA is more condusive but Its planes are a bit too old...I 'm not sure how's APFT looks like?..May I know which flying school will give a better reputation to the cadets so they[cadets] are able to work for overseas airlines in the future if they want...THAN YOU very much ya....

MFA is more famous compare to other flying academies in Malaysia.
MFA had started since 20 years ago and many pilots around the world are graduated from here.

Yes the aircraft is very old but that is MFA's advantage... because MFA has alot qualified engineers to maintenance and repair the aircrafts which available now. Thats the reason why MFA didn't want to change new and advanced technology aircraft. Once the aircraft down or unserviceable they will repair it immediately and let it out as soon as possible. So students can fly and finish the course as soon as possible.

How about HMA, ITNS and others flying academies in Malaysia?
Does HMA has qualified engineer to repair and maintenance their Diamonds? Once got problem the aircraft grounded for how long? same things happened to ITNS, talking about their new Cirrus SR20. They usually send their aircrafts to CTRM for maintenance. I saw 1 cirrus SR20 grounded in CTRM for few months already but still not ready to use yet. How much times were wasted over there?

Guys, is your own choice... I already gave my opinions. Please make a right decision~ ^^
