That's the problem. We can't tell you which is better until you visit the schools respectively and judge them by yourself. If you ask anyone, I'm sure they'll say that their school is the best compared to others. The only one's who can answer this question are the one's that have been to the schools and seen it for themselves already. But to me, that's still a risk cause your taking people's word for it and not your own.

I hope this helps. Good Luck :)

Best way to choose a school? Listen to what your heart says.

Either way, u r gonna graduate with your CPL/IR and fATPL in 18-24 months. How well u perform fully depends on how much of effort and the interest you have put into the course throughout your training with the flying school. Like what Maverick mentioned earlier, pick the most established among all the schools in Msia..... MFA, HMA, APFT.

One thing for sure, u can never be satisfied with any of the school during your training. Most schools here lack flying instructors who teach with sincerity. Not all of them, but most for sure.

Between MFA and APFT , which is better??

Better in which aspect? Ask yourself what you need, then choose. Things like distance from home, environment, fees, food, accommodation etc.

I cannot tell which is better, but here's some info on MFA:
  • Car allowed, even provides parking for you free of charge
  • Meals are not bad, but it gets bored after some time, especially breakfast (fried rice, fried mee, kuey teow, meehon, hotdogs, scramble eggs, fried eggs, toast, half-boiled eggs, that is if you have enough time to prepare), everyday the same. Meals not provided on weekends, public holidays.
  • New buildings - hostel next to caferteria next to classrooms/admin building. Can go back hostel and sleep during lunch time :><.:
  • Ground instructors not bad also. Mostly from Indian Air Force. But then some of them can make you sleepy, very :p
  • Twin share room. Quite small but everything is just nice. Two beds, two tables, two chairs, two wardrobe, bathroom and toilet separated from sink, so that one can bath and another can brush teeth at the same time. Don't like the table though, little leg room.
  • Can on aircond whenever you are in the room, as long as you don't waste.
  • Physical training twice a week, 30 minutes from 6:30.

For me, I choose MFA for it's not too expensive, not too screwed up (as in not much issues), near KL, meaning cheaper to go home, and makes more sense, for allowing cars and things like that.

From what I heard, they send their cadets to MFA. Is this true?
And AirAsia send their cadets to AUS right?
