Mittolo, these I strongly disagree with what you say in above. The flight operations have changed. The future AFI which I am very sure everyone from GGIFA know who is he had took over the flight planner job. I can only say that it is getting worse and worse. I don't mind if the AFI students are given priority but not those who shouldn't be given at all at the first place. As we know that GGIFA has 2 batches graduated from here which is batch 1 and 2. For now the plan should be on batch 2 (some of it who yet to graduate from the academy) and 3. Unluckily, with the future AFI taking over, it had been a total change, with all of a sudden, batch 7 are given priority ahead of those who are in batch 4,5 and 6. And the funniest thing is that only number of students from batch 7 are given priority. I am 100% sure that backlogged problem is back again. Why are these thing happen again?? I am not trying to pin point anyone, but I am very sure most of us are unhappy with the plan these day. I really hope that the management, CEO, DFT, Principal and the owner themselves to look into these serious issue, :( My only comment is that the flight operations cannot be managed by intructors or even the future AFI, this will 100% lead to unfairness and unhappiness to every of the students. Let's us together aim higher for the GGIFA. Thanks. :)

OKOKOi can sense some unhappiness out there ha????? Lets look at the brighter side, the top management is monitoring all the new changes im sure....As far as i know the previous scheduler is even worst (correct me if im wrong) how ever be patience,im sure thing will improve.....Actually all the flying academy in mys also facing the same problem (back log) so just be patience and always look at the brighter side ok......

Let me tell u something, our most popular airline program is even worst then this,so bare with it and take it as a training ::D:

Why are people happy to be mediocre and expect everyone else to accept mediocrity, just because many organisations in our society perform poorly and accept that to be the norm?

Why can't we burst out of this 'content with our comfy own backyard' thinking and aim for world class standards in what we do?

And mind you, nobody is fooled by simply paying lip service to "aim higher". That is NATO (no action, talk only).

I have an acquaintance who finished his CPL/IR with frozen ATPL course in another country in 15 months. That is the norm, not a lucky streak for one person or one batch only. And this temperate country he was in has many bad weather days with flying not possible. This level of service is what paying customers expect and deserve to get.

well since you left there was another guy who act as he roster guy. Guess what, he made a friend stayed home for four months doing nothing after DCAT but right now, I'm sure the eagle boys are pretty happy with their progress. In a nut shell, there are always ups and downs. Just my two pence worth

I am slightly concerned about this as well.. However you see batch 10 give way for batch 8 and 9 all the while for them to get their ppl. And now the new flights ops want to be fair which he thinks he is. Golden 1111, try to think it on behalf of batch 10, now no priority to them, and even some hasn't went for solo. Yet batch 11, some of the students are going for cct about the same for those unlucky boy in batch 10. If you think it is good enough I doubt so. Even the cessna boy, some of the batch 5 has lesser hours than batch 6 and 7. Pity to batch 5 and 10. I am very sure that the new flight ops are quite bossy as well. Everything yes and no action. "Action louder than word"!!! Just my point of view..

I quite agree with you, but those two in batch 10 that is stuck has a story behind their progress. This is according to their instructors. But yeah, batch 10 are happy with their flying. I'm closer to them compared to my batch mates and the whole AFI thing, it really is unfair to others. From what I heard, the one in batch 7 is a head of 2 previous batch. Simply because people need to wait for him to start the class. I mean, come on, if he miss this batch of AFI class he can always go for the next. Right?

Everyone has a story behind them but as far as they can fly, they are happy. How can batch 7 ahead of batch 5 and 6. It is really unfair. We pay money to the academy as well. How come such thing can happen? My only comment is that the roster guy who is also the future AFI to be taken out from the flight ops. He thinks he is fair but actually he is not at all. Think ahead and he should know which batch to be given priority. It is truly difficult to communicate with him. Haiz...:(
