The best information you can get regarding the school are from the students! Cheers for that.

Do you have any information on how much usually those who overseas license needed at MFA or KLIA? Will go over to that thread to ask around.

I'd read on the KLIA tread but seems they are having the worst delays. Any comment?

Regards

KLIA?? OWh what you mean to say is KLIFA. Am I right?

For all ground theory papers, it roughly takes (including ATPL papers) at least 9months without any resit for papers.

Some schools took in overseas conversion licence holders. Some do not. One notorious school is MFA. Chua Airin is damn bitchy, she always discourage people from joining MFA. Anybody don't believe, just pretend to be a potential candidate, walk-in and talk to her. See how's her bloody bitchy reaction.

If I were you, I will get IR rating then come back to Malaysia. You progress in IR flying during your licence conversion in Malaysia will be super easier and so so so much easy to understand. Now, your life is not miserable (as compare to those who are not overseas IR rated) and the instructor will fly with you more and his life is so much easy!

You learnt nothing about IR in most Malaysian flying schools. Believe me. Instructor do what, you just follow. Practically, it is monkey see and monkey do. Now, if you "die-die" want to finish your IR in Malaysia, then I won't stop you.

Just look at who is controlling the school! Blame the one is controlling the school.

If the Principal is so capable in handling the students and managed the school well, then, the school need not employ Maj Radzi to sit on top of him!

I heard alot about this Aireen Chua and weird isn't it, to have someone on top of the principle. But I guess things are improving now in GGIFA. I heard from a senior in batch 3, that he clocked 50 hours in a month and a half while flying the Cessna

Chua Airin (not Aireen Chua; wrong spelling), is really a bitch. Anybody (be it to be experienced pilots or whatever) approach MFA will sure discourage by her. If MFA going for retrenchment, Chua Airin must be the first one to go.

Things are getting better now in GGIFA. Getting less and less delay in graduation. Most likely starting from Batch 7 the graduation will be on time.

Hi, I'm new here...
I just finished my SPM last year... currently waiting for my results...
My ambition is to become a pilot...
Can anyone here let me know when is the next cadet intake for 2010?
How much is the total cost for the study?...including the food, transportation, etc...
How's the study environment?
After graduating, do GGFIFA help us with the next step like working for an airline?
Do we have to pay RM15k for deposit while applying?
Please let me know... anything about GGFIFA...

{some typos corrected. Too many 'and'. -torx}
