I heard from someone that this school uses the aircraft flying by MOGAS? Is this true?

Hi everyone, please make sure you pay a visit to KISTAA before you enroll yourself. Go walk around and see what they posted at their website are truth or not. Some of you might think new flying academy surely got no delay, but some times that isn't truth. Currently, they not even have any aircraft yet. How dare you take the risk? And also when the aircraft arrived do you know how long have to wait for aircraft COA? it takes few months actually. Moreover, check do they have any qualified engineer to do maintenance for their aircraft? Even if they have 30 aircrafts but without qualified engineer its still useless.

There are alot flying academies in Malaysia. Go do some survay pay a visit and find out. Personally, I like to recommend MFA, I'm graduated from MFA without any problem and on time around 17 months and 2 weeks. Current fees is around RM232k, almost the same as KISTAA. You wan to go an academy that established more than 20 years and having 20++ aircrafts or you wan to go a new academy that without any aircraft? Think yourself.
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.

alot actually..
1. how will they managed the school
2. how many student per instructor
3. like honey bear said..even they have purchased the aircraft how long did they take to get it fly in the air..
4. is the FA strong to counter any economic crisis(when it will happend we never know, will they managed to survive when it happend?)
5. and usually new school will advertise with sweet" thing but in the end izzit there??
6. i dont know if KISTAA already recognize by DCA as one of the FTO in Malaysia.

and please correct me if im wrong and please add if u hv any other opinion.

so better be careful before u putting a penny with them..
Its a chance of ur lifetime, coz in the end its all bout money..
alot of FTO either in Malaysia n overseas promises everything just as a marketing program,in the end u will end up stranded there and waiting to fly if u were lucky...Like SFTC in Australia one of the most commond FTO for Aussie n Malaysia student they declare bankrupt..

just my 2cent..

MOGAS???

OMG . . . trust me guys . . . I have seen the performance of MOGAS run Lycoming engines . . . their climb performance suck bad* Here in the Phils, 90% of schools use MOGAS.

Well, unless their airplanes are utilizing austral engines or custom made diesel modified engines.... I would stay away as far as possible. Engines "gurgling" at 2000ft is no joke . . . :=\:
