Not all ground instructors are sucks. There are still some good instructors that really work hard to teach the students.
I agreed with you MFA offered lowest salary in Malaysia, but the bond is pretty SHORT also compared to APFT. Its up to individual to judge which is good. Low salary bond for 2 years or High salary bond for 4 years. I'm pretty sure you know we must unfrozen our ATPL in 5 years time right? No point if you have a lots of good instructors but without serviceable aircrafts. Yes you are right, for UKCAA papers mugups more or less does help in exams. For JAR syllabus there are questions bank also just that the questions are way too much compared to UKCAA. If they really work hard I think they able to pass all the papers before they finish up SE 165 hours. So at the end they are still able to graduate within 18months. No matter how busy is MKZ airport it wont be busier than Langkawi Airport and Senai Airport.
There are pros and cons for every flying academy. Try to ask other flying academies' students.
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.

Hello all.

Wow it's been awhile. Well, I went for KISTAA interview last year.. and yup, I passed and got admitted. However, I had to turned down the offer - financial problem. Yayasan Terengganu didn't have the policy of sponsoring female scholar so yeah. They said, lady pilot - no job scope! *tsk*

Now I'm in MIAT. I guess flying wasnt meant for me afterall.

interview for kistaa? they ask why u want to become a pilot...how the plane can fly (aerodynamic+bernoulli+air flow) ...and last important question , who is going to sponsor you...... yayasan terengganu only for terengganu citizen...if your father or mother from terengganu then you also can apply.good luck ...
