I think you should be inquiring that particular question at PDRM instead bro.

Azri, I dont think that's what mittolo is asking.

But I think the reason why so many ppl are interested in the Afi position offered my MFA is because Malacca is more strategically located as it is more easier for the AFI's to commute back and forth to their hometowns. Eg. Nearer to Selangor / KL

Cheers & Godspeed.

The courier company that's in service with MFA really sucks!!.. they're damn lazy to find your house and they'll mark the package as in "No one was home" or etc etc.. Happened to me as well..

Ur rite maverick, azri got me wrong, anyway other flying schools are paying more then double wat mfa is paying to their instructors.
Tats d reason why mfa is paying 100% afi course to any 1 interested and in return work for 2years to pay back. Tats d only way ppl will work for them.Otherwise none of the instructors are willing to work for them. Their pay is even lower then a flying clubs instructors pay and tat is such an insult....My advice is,since u'll be travelling away frm family/frens,why not go for the highest pay?
Good luck......

Basic Pay Flying allowance.
Mfa : $4.5k $10.00 P/HR
Apft: $8.5k $80.00 P/HR
Klifa: $4.5K $55.00 p/hr

Tis are the few samples. I just can't understand why Mfa is paying so low?
From there u can see wat grade/type of instructors will be available at Mfa.

The salaries of AFI and FI are the same? That's real low comparing to others. Even KLIFA pays more than them :><:

So what makes the current batch of instructors stay?

you know why? its because currently only ITNS and MFA can conduct AFI course.
MFA's AFI course is bonded skim. So those who wan to take AFI course in MFA must bond for 2 years.
and what I heard was ITNS not conducting AFI course this year or maybe stop start from this year.

So you got no other choice except MFA...
This is a business trick. You want then come don't want then please go away.
"Learn from mistake" is totally not suitable for a pilot. You might be don't have chance to fly again after you did a mistake. You can only learn from people's mistake.

GGIFA is offering 6000 basic and 60 per hour.. but location is Bintulu.. reallllll bad..

I think that many instructors still stick to MFA because of their location. Driving distance from almost every where. Most of the instructors say the same thing.. Other schools are too far.. Pay is better but very "leceh"..

and Yes Teddy!, MFA's courier service is the worst in Malaysia, I don't understand why does MFA still liaise with them. They're just full of LIES!!.. The same thing happened to me as well.. I was waiting at home the whole day and they said that No one was home... MA ARSE.. anyway, bygones be bygones.. :><.:
