try maintaining speed of 140-150 knots...
I usually use 150knots....
maintain glidepath...
if you are too low...maybe increase your speed a bit... let say...160 knots...(depend on your flaps restriction speed)
when you are 20 feet above the runway....reduce throttle to idle....and pitch up a bit to 3-5 degrees...
once your main landing gear touches the runway...
add spoiler and then reverse thrust...

=)

good luck...

there is no assumation ok .. just compute the landing speed by its calculation

Its only a microsoft Flight Simulator...
and he is using a default Aircraft from Microsoft Flight Simulator...
The landing speed is given in the tutorial..

but yes in real life we do need calculation..
and this speed basically depend on the weight of the aircraft..

correct me if Im wrong..

to Aboh..
Most Airline pilot does not prefer to land the aeroplane by autoland...
This is because they want to maintain their skills in flying the aircraft...

I agree, and besides that it will take the fun out of it if we use autoland :)

Yes... I use to get autoland when play with FS Passenger only because don't want to loose my credit.. hehehehe...
I know the real pilot did.. Only during bad weather or strong wind most of them would use autoland..
normal landing make the moment wowww... susah nak bayang laa... rasa macam bawak kete laa... kita yg control... heheheheh

Yup True...
even in flight simulator if you made a good ,smooth and maintain at the centre line of the runway when landing..
it gives you a great satisfaction...
In real life lagi la..
