if not mistaken you still can get your DCA license in Air Asia, just might need to take a longer time from base maintenance. Cause in order to sit for your DCA license, they suggest that you need to cover at least 75% of all the ATA chapters. correct me if i'm wrong....

yes, EASA is recgonise by msot of the countries, but do you really able to get a job even though you're holding an EASA license? that's i'm wondering.. you can go to overseas MRO or airlines to view their recruitment, most of the time they are looking for the local citizin or permanent residence... May be the only hope is in middle east like Emirates or Qatar airways......
