LAE = LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEER
AME= AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

An aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) is a person licenced to ensure that aircraft are airworthy in accordance with local and international aviation standards.[1] It is the Canadian equivalent to a United States FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician and a European EASA Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
