NUC EASA and MIAT EASA cost wise

Postby param100 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 11:16 am

Can someone care to explain what is the diff between NUC EASA and MIAT EASA program? On the cost wise, there is a big diff. NUC 14K+ and MIAT 80K. Thats a very big diff. Looking at this, I'm very confused. Which one to choose? NUC or MIAT. Prefer MIAT but already confused. Please sifus, give your advice.

What 6 yrs ago? Their EASA programme(which costs 20K per semester, total 4 semesters) just started last year, however their Diploma+LWTR has been an on going programme.

Please tell me NUC don't make any money.. :><.:

NUC doesn't diff much as others...they are all money suckers... now i gotta pay for my accommodation in full payment..where should i get it???can i pay it later?can, penalty 200bucks according to my neighbour.... FXCK them...im dying just to find money to feed the college...
plus...the management are driving me crazy...im getting my uniform late..and lecturers are scolding me and humiliating me for not wearing proper attire...im wearing nike T-shirt and proper jeans with no holes okay.... =.=

anyway.. what you must know is...to get EASA the fastest way is to go for Part 147 training organisation which is not avail at M'sia..
don't get cheated..
NUC is a approved EASA examination site ONLY
not training organisation.. means you study at NUC is equals to self-studying which is the slowest path and the cheapest path to get an EASA license...

PART 147:2 year study + 2 year work experience =EASA B1.1 /B1.3/B2
NUC(self-study) : 2 year study + 6mth OJT(for diploma) + 5 year work experience =EASA b1.1/b1.3/b2

note that the license doesn't allow you to touch any aircraft
you will later on need to get something called Type-Rating which means example:u get type-rating A320 then u can only touch A320
usually those type-ratings will be provided to you by the company that employs you..
this is what i know after studying Aviation Legislation

ima sem2 student of NUC that wishes miracles to go for AST/Bristol/Glamorgan XD

If I may add, MIAT has several LICENSED Engineers as their lecturers.
I have been to MIAT and their workshops/facilities are but the best for training purposes.
