A real quick one on that.
Every country have their own civil air regulation. This is called Law of the Land.
You want to work on their aircrafts, you need to know the air regulation/legislation and hold their license.
Simple as that.
In the US, and to work with 'N' registered aircrafts, its the FAA license or also known as A & P license.
Europe have their EASA.
Elsewhere the same. Be it Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia etc.,etc.,etc.

hello everyone,

to all timer, i got a question, im a grad student in miat and the dca said that miat's student have a "privilege" of taking the lwtr exam without having any experience in the field. so, is it advisable for us to go and take the exam? or should we laid back, find some experience and then get the license. i heard some rumours the diff. between a jt and a license personnel punye salaries is quite far.

So Thanks!

ariff_putr_rhm,
I think the answer to the question is obvious enough.. :^^:

Ex-MIAT when you passed the DCA exams, you'll get a 'frozen' LWTR, once submission of the required OJT is done.. you're on your way to make the 'big bucks'...
What I simply don't understand is why most MIAT's graduates are not bothered to submit for LWTR examinations? 'Diploma is enough, I am not interested to get license'.. is what I heard... :<.<:

Waalaikumsalam.
From a person who have just completed a bachelor, your english is pathethic.. :<.<:
Interested in aircraft alone will not cut it. Interested to watch? Fly? What..?

First find out:
What TAME programme is all about.
Who is offering the programme.
What is the MINIMUM requirements to enrol into such a programme?

My view.
If you already have a Bachelor, why waste time to start all over in TAME training. A sheer waste of time.
There are other positions and opportunities in aviation industries, not limited to airlines alone.. please, do some reading/research!
