MAS new rules?? (SBZ)

Postby lamewannabe » Fri Apr 22, 2011 6:31 pm

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to Flylah community,

I heard from my friend who went to MROSS Subang, he went there to apply for Jr Tech position for MAS.
But then, MROSS said that MAS Subang had new rules that is to new Junior Tech / Full Skilled must go through.

These guys must be a/c cleaner for a period of time (set by MAS i think)..they need to collect w/schedules and get it signed by LAEs or Mr Fadhil (MAS SBZ).

When you are ready to be jr tech / full skilled tech, you go and get interviewed by Mr Fadhil himself, and if you pass, he will recommend you to the HR Dept.

This is what Mr Fadhil said, according to the guy at MROSS.

Dont know whether this is true or not..but this is as my friend told me.
Do correct me if im wrong, im trying to clear things up in my mind. :=\: :=\:

it is okay if employee had no a/c background..
i forgot to state that my friend is a diploma holder from polytechnic s.alam, who collaborate with MAS.

students from polytechnic went through 1 1/2 years at SZB doing their industrial training.. :><: :><:

i dont know how MAS regulations affect other graduates from Miat and Nilai..

They probably need to be aircraft cleaners first because there's not enough aircraft cleaners in MAS!

I have no idea for how long they need to be cleaner, might be months, might be years.

Yes, students from Polytecnic went to SZB (Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport) for industrial training for 1.5 years (including hangar and w/shops) because there is MOU between poly and mas (i believe it is to provide industrial training).

There is no license whatsoever when students finished their training at poly, because poly themselves had not been accredited by the DCA. Poly provide course according to MAS's guidance only (CAT A programme).
