hi selina1986. i'm wondering if you can help me. Ak will be coming here in our country to recruit FAs as well. I would just like to know if they're particular about scars. Do they ask women to take off the stockings or no? Do they check thoroughly the face for any pimples or acne scars. Also, regarding the announcement was it like the typical inflight announcement like "Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of capt and the rest of the crew I'd like to welcome you on flight... " Sorry if I have many questions. I hope to hear from you. Thanks a million.

Actually the scars problem i'm not too sure .. because i never wear stockings during the interview but i dont think so they will ask you to take off the stockings, as long as your stockings is not too dark. (P/S :You just have to make sure your hands without ANY scars). They never check through the face for the acne scars but you have to put on " dramatic" make up and use concealer to cover up the scars bacause first impression is very important. When Cat Walk you have to make sure your self no 'penguin stand' and 'duck walk'.if not they will fail you without reason. As i know there have 2 types announcement , i will upload for you tonight i've the sample. Just like normal reading. not too fast not too slow ,just be CALM and confident . Keep your SMILE all the time....

Regarding to your question ... for AK first round interview they will measure your height and weight... and the second round i think they will look at you.. overall from top to toe while you CAT WALK towards them and check on your hand see if there's visible scar or not and asked to read on an announcement which prepared by them...

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my queries. Yes, please if you can share sample announcement so I could start practicing hahaha. I'll look forward to it. Just a follow-up questions though, when you say they'll check the hands... will that be from the elbows down or higher like where your sleeve ends? I have friends who'd been to EK assessment and they were not allowed to wear stocking and the Recruiting officer took a close look from their knees down and arms - as in the entire arms as they were asked to wear blouse with short sleeves - for any visible scars.

I'm very eager to join Ak and I'm trying to get as much information as I can so I can pass. Again thanks to you and to VanTaiki as well.

I not sure if this will help you guys. For those who failed the catwalk, take a look at this video from youtube. I blve when they say "Catlwalk" they're not pertaining to " Runway Catwalk" but how FAs should walk. Here's an example:

Lastly, for those who failed(height) because you're few CENTIMETERS short, you may try YOGA. There are yoga exercises that could stretch the spine. Google it there's no harm in trying
