A top secret that i heard off.. i hope it is true.

I received a news that MAS Airline will be Flying Internationally... ALL Local flights, they will push to MasWings..
Am not sure is this info correct or wrong.. and when will it starts.N is it dependable or not....But....
I hope it is a good news for us? Lol...So we can fly internationally? Wou~~Thumbs up up!
I received this info from a fren's cousin whom is currently working with MAS..

Maybe for those who's flying with MAS, or having class, or some how..
If this is true or not true.. please feel free to clarify..hehe..

Lol.. Finger crossed la!

The sound of that is like music to my ears.. ::D: MAS should fly internationally and leave domestic flights to MASwings and Firefly. It'd make more sense rather than competing with low cost carriers.

A friend currently with MASWings told me some similar news. They're going to acquire 737s in the future and flying somewhat internationally to Indonesia/Brunei. Just areas in the Borneo region tho. I guess it would be likewise with Firefly who will takeover domestic flights all around W.Msia. Cant vouch on the facts but just something I heard through the grapevines :^^:

I've to say that I'm also glad if this news is true. But I believe this won't be happening anytime soon yet, even if they already start the project, it will take atleast 1 year for the new aircraft to be delivered to MasWing. And plus Mas Airlines need many thing to consider before closing down their Domestic route. Oh ya but for FireFly, they already receive their Boeing 737, so thats mean are they going to widthen their route to more Regional countries. And actually FireFly already open new route on all of the place in Peninsular Malaysia ( See Picture Below ).

So thats mean we still be doing Domestic/Regional short haul with Boeing 737 - 400/800 ( Narrow body ), with route like Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Singapore, Macau, Taipei, Medan, Bangkok etc. And for you to get promote to Wide Body ( Which do International Long-Haul like Los Angeles, European countries with Boeing 747 & 777 ) will atleast take like 6month - 1year, depending on your performance.

Oh well, where to begin.. Gym, Tennis Court, Pool, Sauna, you name it ::D: Hahahaa just kidding bro, don't expect any of those thing that I've mention. The only pool they have is the Safety Emergency Procedures' Pool, which you will jump in with your entire uniform :^^: But seriously, the facilities that they have would be like cafe, parking, toilet, library, printing room, all those basic thing. So don't expect too much.

Hi Anthony,

So you're from the Kuching batch?

-- Wed Sep 08, 2010 12:44 pm --

Hey everyone,

I just got the call from MAS. They offered me for the September 20th intake, but I had to decline due to some unforseen circumstances. But I will be joining the November batch. So see anyone's who's in that batch then! Cheers guys! ::D:
