Well girl, work for it. Browse this forum thoroughly, do research in other forums as well. The information in forums are theories, but that really helps! Of course, you might not be able to get through for the first time of interview, try again if you failed and stay positive. I have a friend who tried for over 10 times in a span of 2 years, then finally he gets the job and now he is undergoing the training with me now.

And last but not least, check out the airlines websites as well as read the newspaper (The Star) for their latest recruitment.

Hi there. I do not know what is the actual reason why he is so enthusiastic and passionate towards this job. But for sure cabin crew is a job that A LOT of people want this job.

Your English is essential to becoming a cabin crew as we serve passengers from ALL nationalities, so understanding and speaking decently and acceptably fluent in English is essential. I do not know how good or how bad your level of English proficiency is but don't worry too much for your English; if you can speak then it should be fine. Just speak more and practice, read more (newspaper, books) to learn the actual and correct way of English.

Well during your interview, you do not need to do public speaking, you just need to go to the interview and answer the questions that the interviewer asks you. Think that way then you will be able to get through. If you want the job that much, you need to overcome the fear of speaking in front of a few people. In the end of the day, you will need to speak to strangers every single day, you will need to work with people you don't know every day.

About taking English course, go for it if you really want to improve. I mean you will not lose anything if you take an English course, you will gain knowledge and proficiency in English. The course might not be able to make you get the stewardess job, but you will not lose anything babe.

Last but not least, the stewardess school. I never attend those courses and those courses are pretty expensive dear. But if you really want the job so much, and if you have no financial problem, I would say no harm attending those courses. For your information, I have never encounter any of my batch mates attended those courses.

It is ok for you to ask question here and there. Most importantly, you need to contribute some effort to get this job dear. As I mentioned earlier, read this forums posts diligently and thoroughly. All the best!

Yup,i also found that a lot of people want this job but is this really a good job?Just now I saw your post which is about transport and accommodation then i only know that these is self-bearable.So,i worry about the salary left little after spending the expenses on transport and accommodation.

During interview,if we do not understand or ask for speak twice we will more easier to be eliminated? What are the questions that is usually been asking by the interviewers?Honestly to tell you that i am actually working in retail line(sales) so about the speaking to strangers every single day i think i can handle it but i don't know how to handle some emergency cases such as passengers bleeding,diseases...especially i'm fearing of blood = =

You are right. There is no harm for me to attend English course but i don't know which academy suit for me because i'm still working so worrying i have no time.

Thanks!I will do my best to get this job~

Dun waste any single cents to attend any cabin crew course becoz it is useless. Unless u cannot speak english at all or u reli scared speaking in front of public then jus go ahead. Last time i thought i meed to get the cert from cabin crew school then i jus can attend the interview. I waste such a lot of money to study tat useless course. Wat u can do now is try to speak more. The questions that they owes ask are ice breaking questions. For example why u wanna bcome a cabin crew, ur background, why u choose our company, wat is ur hobby n bla bla bla. Jus b confident when u speak n dun b nervous. Eye contact is very important n owes smile. Airline interview is all about luck. U may fail but not bcoz u r weak or watsoever. Mb jus bcoz the interviewers dun like u. So if u fail, jus try again. Tats my advice...
