Fly Lah!

First of all I'm 18/guy...Finished SPM last year, and I need everyone's opinion..
I am standing 176cm..with 73kg/160lbs as in weight,I look fit but I'm heavy..do they accept my weight or do I need to slim down a bit ? :[ I don't kno how to slim down I'm a footballer..and for SPM result I have some confusion about it,do they need applicants to atleast got Credit in Math ? Because I got D in it..as for full SPM result I got 4A's which is A+ in BI and History,and A- BM and Agama Islam test, but my math made me upset..by the way I have enough 5 credits.

I'm from Southern Malaysia / Johor and I missed out the last interview in Johor due to family problems..and basically I can't go to Sarawak and Sabah for interview [ too far away + money ],but my family allows me to go to Penang.Should I really go for it or not ? I'm really interested in being an Air Steward since I was a child and this may sounds funny but truthfully it is..

I am healthy and I don't have scars on my face and body,pretty much clean face..as for skin tone Im more to white-yellowish...so yeah..should I go or not ? or should I wait for next MAS intake [probably next year..] and my priority is being and Air Steward instead of continuing study.

Are you sure you don't want to continue your study first? Its cool to a Flight Steward but for how long you planning to be in this line? With your result, you can make more wonders. Its better for you to get a diploma or degree, for a backup plan, once you finish study then can join the airline and see how things goes. Others can wait..

Minimum SPM or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government with CREDIT in English, PASS in Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics and any other 3 subjects taken in one exam.

Credit only in English, pass in other subjects. There's not many calculation you need to do in job actually

Go for it Bro ......... If you don't try you will NEVER get it.

After all being you could make a career by being an air steward, better pay compare to any uni graduate - at least for the 1st few years and certainly you could make a living.

The highest ranking in air stewardship is a Inflight Supervisor (IFS) in Malaysian aviation context and you could make between RM 7 - 10k/month or may be more in the future.

The worst thing could happen, you will not get the job but at least you could obtain some experience during interview. All in all you have nothing to lose.

Thanks to you both for the replies ! I should try and I will this 21st May/Saturday ..I applied for some Government University but unfortunately some of it needs my Math to get atleast C/Credit and I got lower than that lol,but still not all of them,if I couldn't go to University then being an Air Hostess grabs my attention, at the most.To be honest being a Cabin Crew also gives more salary than normal Government works which is cool..

My parents say if I'm not selected to go to public University in May intake then I shud give a try to be an Air Steward..hehe
