Another 'haven't a clue' questions wasting the bandwith. :><.:

What aircraft are you buying lah? Those RC models are kinda cheap... LOL!

Operational cost? If you keep in the hangar.. most probably zero.. just hangar/parking fees unless you own the hangar.. then there is hangar cost to build.. rental of the land.. etc..

How do you think those billionaires and millionaires bought their own private jets?
You go and buy them lah.. just like that.. with no worries on how much it costs to operate them.
If you can afford to buy them, you surely can afford to operate them! :^^:

DO REFER TO MCAR AND Airworthiness Notice 1 (ONE)...

TORX - your post make me sick, why so cynical and pessimistic? U, as administrator, are totally unprofessional, and lack of passion towards aviation. Yes, u can ban me, but it will just shove your dignity down the drain. This is the reason why GA is almost unexistance in malaysia.

To Kokokranc, its very nice to know some of u pilots have actually passion towards aviation, not just want to be a pilot. If u are really keen, there are a bunch of pilots in PEN, CX pilots and GAs, forming a group to buy and operate few aircrafts under partnership. This works the best as the cost, maintenance, fees/insurance etc will be shared at agreeable fraction. At the moment they own C180, piper saratoga. These matsaleh helped me a lot about how to own an a/c in Malaysia.

I m in the process of getting a Christen Eagle, cost USD60k. Its an aerobatic btw. get cheaper price by buying used plane. http://www.barnstormers.com is a good website, btw u can google more for a/c for sale.

So, please send me a message if u are interested. there are lots of steps and thing need to be done.
