I honestly wonder the initial intentions of posting such an inquiry.
This is akin to "hi all. i want to know how much does it cost to own a car(or bike, bicycle, handphone, etc)"
There would be a (very HUGE!) difference between a Cessna Grand Caravan and A Boeing 747-400 for crying out loud.

Yes I do know about aircraft ownership processes and procedures (do you?) and I would advice you too, do the same about respecting others too! Optional to me of course. I don't care.

hi go_a_head. easy easy on your words... where are you ? it's not only you and torx using this forum as a medium of communications. In fact many are seeing us because this is a public media.

In expressing your oooopinion, please be cafeful. we have many many many better ways. Dont ever think that you can just spill out anything you like because nobody here is seeing your face.

Cost of owning an aircraft depends on many variables

1. Brand new or used aircraft?
2. If used aircraft; is it still in production or not?
3. Are you buying from the traditional manufacturer (like US of A) or are you buying from non-traditional? (like Poland)
4. Has the aircraft ever flown and registered in Malaysia?
5. Has all the mandatory modifications and inspections embodied? If yes, were they performed by an approved organisation?
6. Are you rated on the aircraft?

The list of variables goes on .. .. ..

It is our DCA Malaysia's (unwritten???) policy that you sit down and talk to them about your intention of owning an aircarft because of the high capital investment involved.
