There are many reasons why people failed the interview. Among others are:
1. Lack of preparation.
2. Self imposed pressure.
3. Lack of experience and qualifications.
4. Candidate not suitable for the job.
5. Fail personality test.
6. Lack of positive attitude towards flying.
7. "Stuck-up/nosy" management pilots .........
8. Etc .......
I knew for the fact that factor no 7 is the key to success as well. Today, you join in as an under-confident, stupid and haggard rookie through a simple process of recruitment. Perhaps, some "cables" laid by your friends and relatives did the job and made your journey through loops and hoops until you become an aircraft captain.......
Once you are up there, you started to show your own ego and claimed that you are the smartest "dumbass" pilot that the world could offer. To justify your existance, you started to formulate a complex pre-entry requirement and test procedures even an ex-NASA multiple missions commander may not stand a chance to pass ..........
This is what happened both in MAS and Air Asia. I knew their background history, career progression and performance as well as diciplinary status (I am talking about that particular jackass in Air Asia). However, it is not appropriate for me to reveal in this public forum......
What I am trying to say is a couple of things .........
1. When you are in power, DO NOT make other people's life miserable, you will not be there forever.
2. Please remember how did you start you career, the root where you came from and help others to share the joy in the sky.
After all, flying is just a JOB and it is a piece of cake. Therefore, don't make it difficult....

you dare to tell the truth where others wanted to be the nice guys.
It is damn cruel facts happening...
The worst scenario is: some aspiring applicants called up for final interview are merely to put up a show; juz to comply to offical requirements of the company but in fact all have already been arranged by
7. "Stuck-up/nosy" management pilots
