Very well then, we can consider this as an alternative yes? My school pays the instructor like crazy and your pay sounds like you were in my school before and recently one of our instructor left for AK. Is this Capt. M***H?

for fresh grads who started working for airlines, say airasia, how much will they earn for a start in terms of basic and allowance?

i am supposed that they will enter as a second officer and later to first officer, senior first officer, and capt..correct me if im wrong  ..does anyone wants to share with all of us how their salary increment starting from second officer to capt?..

just for fun guys

Dun worry bout unfreezing yr ATPL bcos u have 5 years to unfreez it....So wats d problem??? Tats why i told u guys work as an afi for 2/3yrs b4 go to airline, then yr bank is full loaded, logbook fully loaded wt flying hrs and u will be more valuable compare to those 200hrs freshie.....

As for pay, S.O basic $4k allowance $45.00 p/hr
F.O basic $5k allowance $55.00 p/hr
Capt basic $12k allowance $$195 p/hr.

Average hrs clock in a mth: F.O 60-80HRS
CAPT 80-100HRS.

mittolo,

with those single engine hours, did you join AK as a S/O or F/O?

S.O initially till u get yr ATPL/200 company hrs (a320)....Which take around 3mth for my case....
Where else for freshie, 1year plus......
See the advantage as a flt instructor....
My 2cents advice....
Good luck guyz

so you only need 200 hours until you get your ATPL unfrozen? Perhaps your advice is indeed valuable. May take this up as my career route, only if the school would offer me bondage by the end of my course
