Bonjour, Paris!

Postby Maverick » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:38 pm

Last week, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak announced that Air-Asia had been granted landing rights at the Orly Airport in Paris, France. This means AirAsia now flies to two destinations in Europe. "It is one of the routes that will add to our global expansion plan. We are happy that the route has been given," AirAsia's deputy CEO Datuk Kamarudin Meranun told AFP. He said the details of the route had yet to be determined, but that it will be operated by the carrier's long-haul arm AirAsia X.
