Can you pay for your accomodation...

Postby throttlejockey » Fri Oct 02, 2009 3:50 am

I was reading another aviation forum today.... I can across that article... interesting..and probably some truth in it....typical AA...

"Airasia A Con Job
I just came to know this.

The Best airlines in the world airasia...they send their pilots to toulouse for the A340 type rating..

do you all know what they ask from their pilots?????????????

CAN YOU PAY FOR YOUR HOTEL AND PERDIEM FIRST AND WHEN YOU GET BACK WE WILL REIMBURSE YOU AFTER 2 MONTHS..

what kind of con job is this..i have never heard of this before..

no matter how small an airlines is but no one has ever done this..no matter its in the good times or bad times..

even worst this airlines has 80+ aircrafts and claim to be the best..

what a load a cr*p...

that fat bl++dy useless ceo goes around driving flash cars and sponsorsF1 team...and WHAT HE HE DOES by asking their pilots to pay first for their traninng accomadation...

this is just utter RUBBISH...

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ONE OF THEIR EX QATAR MANAGEMENT BACK THEIR CEO UP.."

no big deal for those a340 pilots...... after all u get your money back in 2 months.....

not only AA, even other companies at times will ask their employee to pay first...... reimbursements will come at the coming month pay slip or so.....

This is the whole trouble with some narrow minded personalities so called "PILOTS" who allow themselves to be prostituted by the company ........ :=\:

Type rating course is not a honeymoon nor holidays but a legitimate course that MUST be attended by a pilot in order to fly a certain type of aeroplane. If it is planned and arranged by the company then the company MUST bear the cost involve before and after the course itself........... :o.o:

If one start to accept a crappy deal then you are the one who downgrading the profession NOT the company ........... :<.<:
