What's that laptop-looking thing at the back of the right seat?

how many pilots needed to fly an A380, not considering a long haul that need two batch of crew.?? and does it need flight engineer or something lke that on board ...? I miss the singapore air show... Lol..

only two....nowadays...Flight engineer are no longer needed for modern aircraft...

this is me not knowing anything, is there lke an isolated room for control on deck..? Lke en gineer for the computer system..?

if have seen the website mentioned above...
you will notice there is some kind of a laptop behind the crew's seat...
If im not mistaken...that laptop is for the engineer to check the aircraft when it comes for maintainence...

correct me if im wrong...

The laptop is probably where all manuals are stored on for the crew to view. "Probably"
Think about it.. For a plane that HUGE.. Imagine the amount of manuals it'll have..
