30 pilots? thats a lot considering they only operate 7 ATR's.

yeap, they need 30 pilots bcoz one of my friend in fireflyz told me that most of the capt and F.O will start their 737-400 training, hence they need pilot for ATR.I'm not sure when they going to operate MAS 737 oldies but hopefully there will be more job opportunity for those who are still jobless...like me :><.:

Confirmed, they have started the ground school. Sim training will start accordingly right after. Heard they are taking 3 B734's initially, more to come as they build up their internal ops. Heard the first two routes will be to BKI and KCH. Looks like the skies are gonna be painted "orange" soon.

Can't wait to see a B737 in Firefly livery. It's probably gonna be like EasyJet but on a Boeing instead of an Airbus.

yes i guess so.. the first batch final interview was last wednesday.. Interviewed by Captain Jalil himself.. which was quite tough.. the second batch interview should be this week.. they might need more than tht 30 pilots initially. few lucky ones might get to start on the 734's
