mmm.. just wanna ask bout the rating..
as far as i know from my reading, the rating is divided into:

aerodrome ctrl
approach ctrl
area ctrl - procedural
area ctrl - radar
approach ctrl - radar

so my question is who is performing these rating in term of grade, whether its a29 or a41 or etc...
are we allowed to obtain all the rating or just limited to one rating for each atc?
and, the pay of rating allowance is based on the rating we perform or based on how many rating we have regardless the task we perform for that respective month??

thanks..

licenses for both atc and aatc are the same. in my opinion, both will have to meet all the ratings required for the license. allowances are paid based on which position you''re given. but from what i heard, aatcs are more on procedural control and atcs are responsible for both procedural and radar control.

so that mean all the ratings have to be obtained during the 1++year at academy, right?
and when atc got the license and start to work in real, they're already have all the ratings in hand?

wow.. that sound challenging.. thats why I love this job!! :)

from the given link, you can see they are not wearing any identical attire or uniform.. i assume that there are no uniform for ATC, maybe normal office dress code will do.
