A flight attendant wish to bcome a pilot...

Postby lemonn1202 » Fri Feb 18, 2011 2:03 pm

I'm a flight attendant from AK and I'm 21 years old this year, I'm a female. I wish to join AK pilot but unfortunately my spm results does not meet their requirement as their cadet pilot. So I got no chance to join their cadet pilot program. So any advice for me to bcome a pilot ?? If I attend the private class but at the end I got no guarantee to get the job... :><: I aredy gone through all the posts but I really got no idea on it, I'm so confuse now... And after i finish my private class, I am too old as a female pilot :(

Why restrict yourself to airlines? There are many ways to earn your wings and still fly. Get it? :><:

Why not have a chat with your HR officer or recruitment captain 1st?

Agreed, Lemonn, why not approach any of the recruiting captains and speak to them about your interest. You will be surprised with the results as AK will mostly give internal staff the opportunity to move up the ladder.. You can even drop an email to Tony himself to express your interest and see how it goes...

Cheers, Worth a try.

Yes lemonn, AK does give their internal staff the priority first rather then the public. There's always room to climb in AK. There are so many examples of FA's becoming Pilots.. Try talking to Capt. Chris Loh or Capt. Feavin Collar. Very very nice people.

Good luck Lemonn :)
