Wanting to be a pilot but not sure where to start? Clear your doubts here.

if wear spectacles, can or not???

Hello.. I'm very confused about that.. if someone wear glasses can he or she becomes a pilot? if cannot, why?? what about the academics qualification? please, help me.... :( tq very much...

Yes you can but it depends on your visual acuity. Most airlines require a 6/60 correctable to 6/6. For academic qualifications, MAS requires SPM with 5 credits with a B in physics and English or maths (I forgot which) while SIA requires 5 credits in O-Level WITH AT LEAST A-Levels qualification. Good for you! :D I'm not sure about my own eyesight actually. 2.50 on the left and 0.25 on the right. I guess its better than 6/60.

My eyes are weird, left 100 myopia, non astigmatism, but then my right eye 25myopia then 100 astigmatism.. Crazy right!!

Frankly i don't get quite clear with the standards of 6/60 and 6/6 ? may i know how many degrees is that ?

mine is left eye myopia 175 astigmatism 0.75 , right eye myopia 250 and astigmatism 1.25 , wonder if this can pass ???

Can, nowadays 400-500 per eye easily can pass. Its more of "as long correctable" thingy and clear of any eye disease will do.

hey i wanna ask whether i'm qualify or not.....my eye power is 550 degree for both eyes and i have 175 astigmatism on my left eye and 225 astigmatism on my right eye......can i become a pilot?
