I see no MAS guys talking about their lottery. You are just to naive. The world is not that simple where you opt to choose the airlines. They choose you as what SherM said.

CX will NEVER hire freshies, you would need a minimum of 1000hrs just to apply, getting in is a different thing all in. If its that simple you wont be seeing 250+ Malaysian CPL/IR graduates being jobless for 1.5yrs +.

CX strictly hire people who only have experience and not to mention they got their own cadet pilot programe. Unless your Honda willing to pay another RM80k for your jet rating plus another 70k to convert to HK CPL/IR then its a different thing.

Well you are not here with the MAS cadets, u dont know what they say about my scholarship. Well Honda can support me for Type rating.

I'm not there? been there done that. I know what i'm talking about.

I hope Honda got the power convince CX (or any other airline) to let you in without meeting the requirements. Good Luck.

Enjoy HMA.

hehe,
keep on following this thread, very funny, darn funny.. well, anyone here being MAS cadet n complains, there are just ungrateful morons. as for the scholarship holder, well yah, you are lucky mate of not need to come out with any single cent, but don't count your lucky stars yet, the new syllabus (JAR) is tough, u need to do well in it, and as for flying, u need to excel in all ur PTs and get good grades in ur FTR.. if u don't, then it will be a waste of having scholarship, because no airline will hire u in this dense field.. u will end up being a FA instructor, hey, that ain't bad ryte ? haha :)

cheers

yeah, i heard the JAA is tough wei.. but if put effort on it u will excel... im in HMA study day n night right after my ground school lessons everyday...
but on the other hand, seniors here said its no diff than previous syllabus.. just another way of testing ur knowledges...
