Jordan,

To apply is one thing, to become a fighter pilot is another thing ........ above all, the most satisfying achievement one could achieve as a fighter pilot when you could enlist yourself in the 'ELITE Group" called "The TOPGUN Pilot" group .......... :)

All Topgun pilots are fighter pilots but only a FEW fighter pilots are Topgun pilots ....

Next year in LIMA11, make sure you make yourself available to socialise with them and find out how to be a member of the "Elite" group..... ;)

Yea, maybe i will do that. I'm going to apply for TUDM after I get my SPM results. From there, I will climb my way up to be a fighter Pilot.

This Route is definitely not an easy one :))

Jordan,

It does not matter whether applying through KTU or TUDM, lets not argue about it............. :=\:

Starting from today, please buy a newspaper (major newspapers such as UM,BH, NST & The Star) everyday until you see the advert. It will tell you how to apply and what qualification TUDM is looking for. Normally the advert will be published in the same month of your SPM's result.

There are 2 different types of advert, one for technician and the other for cadet pilot. Normally, both will display fighter jets as an attention getter. Read the advert carefully as you do not want to end up as a technician instead of a cadet pilot........ ::D:

Actually, 'Tenaga Kerja C' located in MINDEF (Ministry of Defence, Jalan Semarak KL) is the dept in-charge.

I am afraid i could not give you more info apart from this. Good luck !!! ......... ;)

Wait hold on a minute. I am kinda confuse here.

On that day HawkerMaya told me that Being a fighter pilot is another story. Like i need to get good grades in their college before i get selected as A fighter pilot. And getting in is another story. Is it true?

and, when they say minimum is credit.Let's say i get a credit VS an Ace's student. Will i still be call for an interview? OR they just dump me aside?

To be a fighter pilot is purely based on your flight grading, i.e. your performance during flying phase. No matter how good you are during academic phase but flop during your flying phase, the chances are you would not be considered to undergo fighter/tactical training. If you manage to obtain your wing, you would probably be sent to either transport or heli conversion.

I don't know the details what happen in KTU that but basically that is what gonna happen after you start your flying training at PULATIBANG 1.
