Hi..sorry off topic..actually i have one question regarding the 1st class medical check up..sorry if i'm wrong..
If i want to enter any FA i must take that med check up right? act one year ago my right leg was broken and
coz of that my leg has 'besi' now..so does it give any effect to my opportunity to enter any FA especially to become a
cadet pilot for AK/ MAS?

If the implant is permanent and doesn't effect the normal function of your leg, then it shouldn't be any problem. Your aviation medical examiner will asses if you have recovered 100%. Otherwise u just have to wait for full recovery.

Its best if you consult an aviation medical doc or orthopedic regarding this. Doubt if anyone here can help you out coz we aint doctors. The reason why you need to be fully recovered frm this is because during your twin engine training phase, u are required to use force from your feet to control the rudders during asymmetric training/1-engine inoperative. This might cause you a lot of discomfort if you haven't fully recovered.

Your case is similar with me. April 2008 I had my tibia fibula implant (metal) because of road accident (I'm victim). February 2009, I did medical check up class one. That time I already healed since August 2008. The doctor will ask if you was in hospital or not. If yes, explain it like me. Doctor will check your leg either pain or not. In the end, I got my class one MC.

By the way, I already removed the implant recently. Now I can walk as usual.

For your information, I didn't enroll to the FA at MFA Melaka yet. I got class one MC just to apply at MFA last year. Right now, I'm waiting for MARA loan. Sorry for late reply. By the way, I'm planning to enter MFA on May 2010.
