even they hav new batch of A330 is not sufficient as a reason for them to open the cadetship. On another way round, they used up the money to buy A330 n maybe tats y cadetship is put on halt. Of coz, kira the spending on competing with AK, just flip open the newspaper eveyrday n u see where's the cadetship money gone.
just hope for the best, n prepare for the worst...
again, their choice, our dream.
let's wait, brothers ~ I pledge to myself to become a pilot one day, no matter how old am I.
good luck to all of u ~

Hahahaha..
You guys are a bunch of speculator with no basis.
Giving people false hope only lah...
Lucky you guys are not brokers otherwise I'll anticipate the next recession be coming sooner than expected.
Hahaha...

So here's the real scoop.
MAS are just buying new A330 to replace the current aging fleet.
Meaning one new plane comes, one old plane goes out.
Just like the new 737-800s to replace the 737-400s.
Unless MAS is doing exceptionally well in the near future, only they'll exercise their rights to buy the optional orders of the A330 to expand the fleet.
So don't expect to see them reopening their cadet anytime soon.
Sorry to bring your hopes down, but I just figured you guys should know facts and not take others for a ride.

me too, i wont turn my ambition down, i mean that we only have a few more years to go before reaching the age limit, so start making plans such as getting loan for private ... patient is good but the thing is the intake is frozen indefinitely, we hav no idea when is the next intake going to open, it may be this year, or maybe 5 years later ...
anyway, i got an offer letter from APFT to join the upcoming batch... i wonder why coz i didnt attend the interview test ~

Sorry to hear that JAL has bankcrupt...
RIP to those who perished in Ethiopian Airlines B737-800 crash accident ...
