Those days there was only MFA in Malacca. Now, there's soooo many flying schools in Malaysia. How not to have SUPPLY more than DEMAND?

This happens everywhere, not just in aviation industry. The concept is simple, If you're capable, smart enough, hardworking, good attitude , you will always get a job, just about time matter. There are alot of unemployed pilot asked for jobs, but they never prepared themselves for written test, interview and stuffs. They always take things for granted. Of course this is small portion of them. Airlines always give chances to us if we're capable to prove them, especially AK. AK is fair enough to every unemployed pilot out there. No matter what kind of cable that you have, you still gotta get thru yourself for the written test. The head of recruitment gave a comment that, " You guys always desperate for job, but you can't even answer my paper, which is so simple. How could i give you a job? "
If you have good attitude, smart enough, hardworking, and capable to control the a/c. GO FOR IT ! =]

You are talking about an 'IDEAL' situation and I do not dispute that ......... :<.<:

However,

Just in case you are not aware, there are 2 laws in this world, for the 'MASTERS' and for everyone else ......... :=\:

I have a few living proofs who were rejected by a Malaysian carrier (after a few applications) but successfully employed by a few others 5* airlines abroad and even earned much higher than the person who rejected them...... ;)

I also knew a few living proofs who were recruited directly into the airlines in Malaysia without having to undergo an interview process (as a pilot) ........ :=\:

I also knew a few who managed to get the job through their own hard work + luck and I do congratulate + admire these people...... :)

Its all depend on which category that you fall into, and certainly you have to behave like one ......... :p

Flying is just a job and it is not rocket science .......... however, life is not fair after all ....... some can make it, others don't ... :(

Good one! Luck is important in this field, but people who put a lot of afford and hard work (if this field is your real interest) usually will get it imo.
Pilot is not an easy job, but I love flying and I will take the risk!
