Let's us pray it will come true becoz the last intake was on 2010.... ...btw this just a prediction due to the current status of MAS cadet pilot which is:

APFT ( Kelantan ) : Batch MAS 26/09 have just already finished their training n will be grad on Oct 2011..after they
grad.,no more MAS cadet at APFT after that....( waiting for the new intake probably in 2012 )..

HMA ( Langkawi ) : Batch MAS 2010 intake is now in Phase 3 Ground school n will grad on Jan 2012 ( maybe )...after they
graduated...no more MAS cadet at HMA....( also waiting for the new intake )

thus.,in 2012...it is higher possibility for MAS to reopen the cadet pilot application again!!....just pray it will come true guys...

u r giving an impression that states : at a particular time,there SHOULD be any mas cadet.
is it true then?

DCA has ordered airlines in Malaysia to stop taking in Cadets and give priority for the privates who are currently jobless and expect MAS not recruiting any Cadets but a Direct Intake Cadet Pilot is more of a possibilty in these 2 to 3 years.

FYI DCA has got no say in such matter. They can only advise airlines to consider taking in privates instead. Its the airlines own prerogative to decide on whether to offer Cadet Pilot Training Programmes at such time they deem feasible to do so.

I agree with m732. Heard of it from 1 of MAS captain who is undergoing the a380 training.

Agreed on m732 coz i m taking my spm this year and have high interest on bein a pilot =D hope i can get the 2012 intake...

but...when 1/1/2012 i am still 17 until end of August T~T

for ur info, that is not how the system works.
your age is depend on your YEAR OF BIRTH. even it is not your birthday yet, but u r still considered as 18. okehh?

Should I register for.matriculation? Even though min requirement for pilot is spm level but I dun want waste my time doing nothing if they never choose me for intake, and the matriculation class starts may next year.
