hey guys ... just heard from a reliable source.. MAS not going to open cadet pilot intake anytime soon .. they r focusing on direct intake... (why not, can save money and solve the jobless pilot, kill 2 bird with 1 stone)

that's bad to hear that...but i hope things will change & there'll be intake for MAS cadet pilot next year...so my brother can apply for it...

MAS has never had "direct intake" before this, always had cadet pilot intake...

Now with so much of noise (& I'm sure pressure from the government) due to excessive fresh pilots with no jobs, they had to go with "direct intake"...

It's not only a question of economy, it's more of politics!

Well since when MAS involve in Business and Economic?
I tot MAS is one of political party for the next PRU?

As long as the politics can benefits me I'm surely be happy enough!

Thats not entirely true.. As I recall they done it twice before in the early 2000's (cant recall exactly) during Datuk Idris Jala turnaround programme when they take direct intake from flying school.. But it is out of their normal practice nevertheless..
