airlines scholarship for glasses people?

Postby hiel12 » Sat Jun 11, 2011 10:00 pm

hey there,
i posted before about "do people with spec allowed for pilot?"

there's a new quetion popped in my mind
my eye "power degree" have been increased within 2 years
before = 125 / 150
now = 175 / 200
it might be that i'm still qualified to pursue pilot license in private academies, but what about applying scholarship for MAS or AK? i fear they might be strict

i added about airlines scholarship because i applied 4 airlines and only 1 answered(AK), 3 still waiting(MAS,SIA,CATHAY)
Unfortunately , AK told me to sit their exam at 2-3 february and during that time I am in NS, Tawau. so they posponed to june (and still they didnt sent any email or msges/info)

IF i past their exam and need to go for medical check up, do they accept people with spects eventhough qualified enough for licensing in private?

->undergraduate mechanical engineering UTHM and persuing pilot in UTHM(first IPTA supplying pilot course)<-

SQ limit is 500 for initial check up. For renewals limits are taken off as long as your vision can be fully corrected to 6/6 or 20/20.

For MH, there is no limit as long your vision satisfies the uncorrected acuity of 6/60 and 6/6 corrected with vision aid.

For AK initials, its slightly stringent on your initial checkup, 6/36 is the limit for initials, limits however removed for renewals as long fully corrected to 6/6.
